東京馬術倶楽部 My first day at Tokyo Riding Club

Today I started work at Tokyo Riding Club in Yoyogi.
Work started at 7.30. Yes, thats right. 7.30am. With a meeting. Where I was, of course, given ample opportunity to embarass myself infront of 20 odd people. GOOD TIMEZ.
The morning was spent cleaning- I cleaned some stables. Moved some poo. Cleaned barns. Moved more poo. I also cleaned every horses watercup in the whole yard. That took a good few hours, and it was a good way to meet all the horses, and get to know who is nice, who gets a little bit too excited to see you, who bites, who would like to lick your face and who would like to steal your hat. Oh, and of course who would like to embarass you on your first day by getting their head in a bucket of feed and tipping it all over the nice clean floor. THANKS FOR THAT, HORSE.

After lunch I finally got to ride.
Back in the saddle after 2 months!
Tokyo Riding Club is a specialist dressage yard, so the riding is a little different to what i'm used to. Still, it will be good to learn some dressage, as its not something I've done much of in the past.
After riding, I got to wash some horses and move more poo.

ノースマクイーン North McQueen
OH yes.
You know how no matter how hard I try not to, I always end up falling in love with one of the horses and getting really attached etc? Well guess what? I've broken my own record. 5 MINUTES. Yes. Within 5 minutes I had met the man of my dreams♥ He is rather large, and ginger all over ;)
Well actually he's a very handsome boy. Chestnut, around 16 hands, a dressage horse.
His name is ノースマクイーン(North McQueen). Lets call him Northy for short. Aww.
We met when I went to clean his poo LOL. He's a really lovely horse and came and put his face in my arm immediatley. Later on it was him I rode, and he was really nice. Feel another Toffee syndrome coming on? Photos of Northy coming soon. ♥

Oh, and I just realised I only spoke about 3 sentences of English all day (and that was when customers came running over to me like OH HI MY COUSIN'S BOYFRIEND'S SISTER'S DAD'S DOG'S AUNT'S BROTHER LIVES IN ENGLAND!)
HOW AWESOME AM I.

Oh and by the way...

I AM WELL COOL.
