Last night I went to bed at sometime before midnight. I was woken up at 3am by the fire alarm (the fact it woke me up should be an indication of how loud it is!) Last time there was a fire alarm, no one did anything and just went back to bed. But this time when we went out onto the corridor there was smoke everywhere. So there were all the Korean students, debating whether this was a real fire. What the hell do you think? Then one of the Japanese students came running up the corridor "YABAAAAAAIIIII!"
Way to make a load of squealy Korean girls start panicking, nice one sunshine.
The stairs were blocked so we had to go out another exit and stand in the street in the rain for over an hour.
Half of the idiots were running around squealing and laughing like this was possibly the best moment of their lives, and the rest were hugging each other over-dramatically.
Ugh.
Eventually it was decided that no one could go back into the corridor yet because it was not safe, but it was okay for us all to pack into a lift and go up to the top floor and sit in a study room (work that one out!)
Still no idea if there was any fire or what, all they knew was that someone had set one of the extinguishers off, and they were saying the police have been notified and were demanding to know who it was. Yeah, like people are going to start volunteering themselves to get done by the police!
Finally got back into our rooms sometime before 5am, but then ofcourse there were way too many people who decided that a fire alarm meant that all rules and regulations were cancelled, and decided to make lots of noise and keep everyone awake for the rest of the night. Thank you, inconsiderate fuckers.
In more exciting news, I rode a little pony called Kellaway today. He was so nice and willing and we had a great ride :)
