Captin

One of the horses at work, a livery horse named Captin died this week :(
He was suffering with collic last Saturday and couldn't seem to balance properly. The vet was there all day.
Apparently, he died suddenly on the Sunday.
He was a beautiful black horse, huge but really sweet. I was fond of him, although he had not been there long.
I was surprised, because when I passed his stable, there was a sort of shrine in there. A table with pictures, flowers, some of his things and incense. Some of the customers went in to pay their respects.
I didn't know people did this kind of thing for their animals.
