Smurf hits Japan, Day 2: Asakusa

Today, we planned to wake up at 10am.
So, when I checked my phone and saw it was 11.30 I was in shock.
Turns out Smurf heard the alarm and turned it off before I had a chance to come out of my deep, deep don't-hear-the-alarm-sleep.

Eventually we trotted off to Asakusa.
We had planned to go to Tokyo Tower in the morning, but that didn't happen because of our Smurf's alarm clock error. So that will have to be saved for Sunday.

So I took Smurf to Kaminarimon Gate and up the shopping street Sensouji Temple, Asakusa Shrine and allllll around the surrounding area because I'm so nice. It was the also a good chance for me to explore since everytime I usually go to Asakusa I end up shopping and not exploring.

^This is a cherry blossom right? I thought it was a bit early. But I dunno. I'm not very up on plant types.

^ It was sunnyyyy.

^ Sumida River from Azumibashi. This was in The Grudge YAYYY.

Then Smurf got ripped off for some cold medicine on the way home.
This is Tokyo...

  1. It's 梅 (plum) blossoms. It's too early for sakura (early April).
