It was... an experience.
Small, and rather boiling. Had about half an hours sleep. But it went quite fast.
Once I got here and found Vivian (after being dumped in a back alley, despite being told we would be dropped at Osaka Eki) we headed to Nara, to meet Paulina and John, the Kyoudai clowns!
WELL John decided not to show up for ages, so we went to look around Toudaiji and the park with the deer.
OH
MY
GOD
THE DEER
I bought some senbei that you can feed to them, and was immediatley surrounded by deer, one with horns that decided to headbutt me in the backside.
But they were so cuuuuuuuuuuuute. I love them. With their little squishy noses.
Eventually John decided to grace us with his presence, and we had lunch then looked around Naramachi (old town) and Kouryouji. We also went to the Heikyoujou (site where the first capital city of Japan was)... but ya, lots of scaffolding and not really much to see there.
We went home eventually. And I say eventually because its a treck, isn't it Vivian Chan?
It is absolutely freezing in Osaka by the way.
More plans for this week:
